These patterns were typical of the Renaissance majolica of northern and central Italy and the illustrations that inspired me the most find their roots exactly in this period (these are “Arabesques”, “porcelain”, “peacock feather”, “grotesque”, “Raphaelesque”, “with festoons”, “quarters”, “trophies”, etc…).
